Excellent Fishing Rod

Paired the 7’4” casting model with a Shimano Calcutta. Amazing combo and amazing rod performance. I have to be honest, I’ve even used this rod (in a pinch when bank fishing) as a flipping rod into thick Florida vegetation and it still performs in addition to being my primary crank and chatterbait combo. I want two more at least!

My favorite rod

I have the 7'2" medium and have been using it for 3 years. This rod is a dream for crankbaits. Casts really far. Loads up perfectly - I rarely miss landing a fish. Very light and comfortable in my hand. And it's so very smooth on the retrieve. I have a number of high end rods from St. Croix, Shimano, and Daiwa and this rod lands at the very top of the list. At $275 its a bargain.

Amazing rod

I have the 7’4” MH casting rod paired with an AG Revo STX and all I can say is that the pairing is incredible. I’ve always struggled casting small lures long distances but this thing makes it a breeze. I caught an untold number of bass and northern on this setup using cranks, jerkbaits, and chatterbaits. Simply a blast to use and I thank the good people at St. Croix for their efforts.
