I've used this rod a few times so far and I love it. I originally bought it for redfishing inshore, and use it for bass mostly now. It does great for both, but the sensitivity it has helps with dragging worms or jigs that I love.
Haven't had an opportunity to use this new rod yet but I have used the first one I purchased many times and I love it. I would expect the result to be the same with this one.
This is the sixth Legend Tournament spinning rod I have purchased. All are sensitive and have excellent balance with a light-weight quality spinning reel like the SeVIIn GX2000 or 2500.
I originally ordered this from Amazon. Took 5 days for them to tell me it was “undeliverable due to damage”. Things happen…
So I decided to order this from St. Croix directly since I’m actually in Wisconsin at the moment. I ordered on a Monday holiday (Labor Day). Had it delivered to my job site in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin (I work pipeline). It shows up 2 days later in a stiff cardboard tube in perfect condition!
The very next day, I catch a small mouth and a northern at a quick stop by the job site.
The rod itself is PERFECT for what it’s designed for. I truly couldn’t be happier.

Very nice rod. Super light, sensitive and can sling a 1/2oz tube into 20mph winds no problem!
