St. Croix Rod goes to the head of the class; sponsors Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops and Costa Bassmaster High School Series

Just like when Tom Sawyer and Huck Finnokay, bad example, although fishing might somewhat justify playing hooky How about the smarter kids, even the smartest? Thats simple. Theyre fishing the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops and Costa Bassmaster High School Series. And, the brightest minds in rod manufacturing are right there to support the extracurricular activities. In 2017, St. Croix Rod will be as provisional as the PTA.
Valedictorians in fishing rod design and craftsmanship, St. Croix Rod spends countless hours in the science lab concocting bass-fishing-specific rods. Hugely inspired about starting classes next year, St. Croix Director of Marketing Jesse Simpkins is all about sponsoring the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops and Costa Bassmaster High School Series. These kids really are the future of fishing. And thats no lip service. These student athletes are as committed to competition as any football or baseball player, or serious academic for that matter.

Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops
The Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops gives college anglers a platform for competing with their peers in a national setting. Anglers can compete in one of five regionals and in a Wild Card tournament for the opportunity to advance to the national championship. From there, one college angler earns a coveted berth in bass fishings biggest tournament, the Bassmaster Classic.
Costa Bassmaster High School
The B.A.S.S. High School Nation is helping shape the future of the sport, one high school club at a time. The High School club members enjoy camaraderie and competition, as well as education and conservation programs. As part of the B.A.S.S. High School Nation, young anglers can compete in the B.A.S.S. High School Nation Opens and in the B.A.S.S. High School Nation Championship. Teen anglers can also attend the High School Elite Experience, a free opportunity for anglers who live near certain Bassmaster Elite Series tour stop
