Back up rod

I usually purchase high quality St Croix rods but purchased the Triumph as a back up rod for trout in the white river. Quality for the money is still there. Would not worry if I need it as a back up. Still all St Croix are excellent. That’s all I own

Great triumph rod

Very happy with it I was worried that it was going to lite but it was just right its my second triumph rod I got 5 ft ultra lite and a '6 6" modern lite both are great rods very happy with them now that's all I use is st croix rods definitely worth the money.

Triumph Freshwater Spinning Rod

I bought my son a Triumph 6'6" medium/fast fishing rod for Christmas. The tip broke on the second cast. He is an adult experienced fisherman. St. Croix's "superstar" customer service is anything but. After reading other reviews, a rod breaking after a few casts is not an anomaly. The St. Croix website cautions their warranty line has been receiving a heavy call volume. Go figure. I would caution anyone considering this rod model.
