I bought the 7 ft Medium rod to throw paddle tails, but it's been sensitive enough to use with light Ned rigs, and has handled swim baits at the top (and slightly above) it's weight rating with no problems. I expect it to be a go to rod for me in both fresh and salt water.
The rod is beautifully made and will be a joy to fish for tarpon and snook. Though I haven't actually fished it yet, I'm looking forward to hooking and fighting a good sized tarpon as soon as I have the opportunity. Thanks for the great service, and for what St Croix offers veterans.

Aesthetics wise, it looks absolutely beautiful, the resin coating is great, the cork grips feel awesome! I can’t wait to start targeting coho’s and steelhead on it!
Recently bought 4 rods for Tarpon fishing. Happy with the way they look and feel. haven’t used yet.
