Best Rod I've Ever Had

I have been fishing for a while and decided that it was time to upgrade to a higher-end rod. I was interested in St. Croix because our school offers a discount on their rods, and I've seen firsthand how well they work. I talked to some people about which models they liked the best, and Mojo Bass was at the top of their lists. When the new handle design came out, my mind was made up, and I bit the bullet. I bought it in early August and can confirm that the new trigon grip works. You can fish for hours without your hands ever feeling sore. I bought the 7'4" HF, and I can use it for anything from small frogs to mid-size Musky blades. It is undoubtedly the best rod I've ever owned.

New Changes Good

Been fishing these since the first ones. When they first came out there were great but that was 20 years ago or more. They needed an updated and the changes are out of this world! If you like old school rods you can get any place these are might not be for you or buy a Victory. Obvious some people on here have not fished them for one second.

Disappointing upgrade

I received a JOC71MF as a warranty replacement for the older MJC71MM. I requested a fast action rather than moderate which Service was able to accommodate. What was unexpected was the change in the grip/rod seat. I found the trigger on the underside smaller and sharper than the previous models. It does not sit comfortably in the hand as the older model of which I have several and use constantly. In addition the older models had an area where ones trigger finger rested directly upon the rod blank. This provided additional sensitivity for me. The newer models no longer provide that feature and has a Zebco like grip./rod seat,

The Trigon has been a killer! Used it almost exclusively on my trip to Minnesota and it was on the deck for my most recent tournament. Going to transition most of my rods this winter.

Love the new Mojo Trigon

I have owned the Mojo series for a while. Now adding the Trigon to my collection, it will be my go to rod.

@Rpatriot, it would be difficult to find all 100% Made in USA fishing tackle or equipment. If everything is going to be made outside of the USA... then you minus well quit fishing.
