Perfecto

I combined this rod with makaria 30000. Both them together working like hunter machines, fishes afraid them. Shore hunting about yellow fins and blue fins.

Legend Surf Blank

I recently bought the Legend Surf in 10’6”, 3/4 to 4 onz, moderate action. The rod looked really good, high quality indeed until I realized the tip section was noticeably bent. For 560 dollars top of the line surf rod, I do expect the blanks be somehow straight. Maybe I got a lemon but it should not pass quality control and go out to the market to begin with. Anyway lessons learned, don’t buy online and go to a dealer so you can do the quality checking before buying. I returned the rod and ended up loosing 35 dollars on S&H not to mention the disappointment after so much expectations.

Worth Every Penny

Took a couple of the 12 foot heavies down to FL for the blacktip migration and landed 20+ tippers up to 100 lbs off the beach and the rods never broke a sweat even when paired with reels putting out 40+ lbs of drag. My crotch however was black and blue after the ordeal, (next time I'll hopefully remember to use my cush-it).

Great Rod with warranty

This is an amazing rod. I am able to cast large lures off the beach for tarpon and other large game fish in fl.The St. Croix warranty paris well with this investment of a fishing rod for when it breaks on big fish. I have broken 3 legend surf sand the replacement process is easy and makes this rod well with the cost.
