Peak Technology and Performance

I have been a long time fan of the Legend X and split cork grips, but knowing the advancements in this generation of Legend Xtreme and playing with a few models at my local retailer, I was eager to give it a try. The rod has absolutely blown me away in terms of weight and sensitivity, and I was very surprised at how tacky the synthetic grip remains when it gets wet. Can't recommend this rod enough.

Excellent spinning rods, sensitivity and power at their best, one thing I can’t understand is why there isn’t a single two-part model in the Extreme series??

This is an Incredible Rod.

This rod has taken my fishing experience to a whole new level. I have a premier rod, an avid rod and a legend bass tournament. I also have star and Shimano rods. The quality of this legend elite, the fit and finish is the best of any rod I own.
The rod is very light and the sensitivity is incredible. I find the Avid rod to be an outstanding rod but the Legend Elite is incredible. Absolutely no issues with hooksets, I have caught 50+ bass with the largest being 9 pounds - the rod handled flawlessly.
Is it that much better the Avid and my Shimano rods- YES it is.
All I can say is fish it and you will see and more importantly feel the difference!
I use Suffix 131 on my setup and it casts very well and is a quiet braid.
I’ll be buying another Legend Elite soon - I have always owned high end reels and now I have a rod that makes those reels that much better.
This rod and my other St Croix rods are worth the cost and I also had a warranty issue and that was handled quickly with a new rod. Trying to find that kind of service in today’s market is almost impossible.
Incredible Rod from a Great Company and made in America, I could not ask for more.
