Best of the Best

Of my 10 rod/reel combo…… this rod beats every other one I own. Wind Buster, Steez AGS, Poisin Adrena, Lamiglas, NRX…etc. The feel and sensitivity is unmatched. I have mine paired with a Daiwa Exist 3000. Life is good, even when fish aren’t biting it’s a pure joy to own.

Awesome rod

I have the Medium 7’ and it is definitely a heavier power than most mediums, also much faster. I would say this rod can throw baits like a medium but sets hood like a medium heavy. I just wish they made the casting model in medium as well. I have 2 of them paired with Stella 2500s as my tournament set up for the 2022 redfish season. St Croix, make a medium casting version!

It’s a beast!!! (7’ MH)

This rod is my new go to for fishing bulls reds and large stripers. When comparing it to my NRX inshore I’d say the sensitivity is about the same. This rod is noticeably heavier than the NRX but the blanks seem to be a lot stronger. The guides are the strongest I’ve ever felt on a rod this size. It’s definitely built with top notch quality. Alongside the quality, it is a beautiful rod. The color and finish on it really stands out to me. Happy to have it part of my arsenal. I paired it with a 2020 Shimano Twin Power 4000 and it balances out very well.
