Great rods I got 7 ft,double eye supports, real good for big carp contests, rod has great back bone, Love them ,have seven of them.
I have owned several of the 6’8” medium/ fast.
I have caught giant 18 lb bluefish, false albacore, striped bass including a 50 lb that towed my kayak for a hundred yards,
It excels at fluke fishing from shore and kayak. Fast action helps hook setting. I think the blank is the same as more expensive models but guides are cheaper. I have cracked a few guides and tips. They used to be 125.00 still a value at 140. I also use the 7 ft for surfcasting lighter lures and bucktails for bass and blues
Solid rod. Solid rod. Does a lot of solid things for a rod.
so when I bought this rod I took it fishing for the first time and I hooked a fish it popped of and the last foot of the rod was on the ground I got a replacement and I thought everything was fine then I found every bit of my line fraud because one of the inner parts of the eye was broken don't get it
I have a 7’6” Triumph spinning rod med. fast. And it’s a nice rod I’m using it on a popping cork. I also have the same size, power and action in the premier rod. This rod has a good bit more back bone compared to the premier. I love the premier for finesse fishing. They are awesome rods.
I do wish the lil lure holder was open at the bottom and not closed.
