Great rods built by an even better company. They stand behind their products!

This will be our 2nd one in our array of fishing rods for my wife and I. We fish in south Louisiana. We are amazed when we catch fish on them and the feel that generates directly into your hand. So when we are on fish and we lose tackle or have to switch to another rod we are bummed. So we just purchased another two so the odds are a lot less of that happening. The rod easily handles bull reds with no fear of breaking the rod. We have handled several big reds with 8# diameter 30# power pro matched with the Shimano Stradic Ci4+ in a 4000 size. This is are go two set up. Awesome Rod THX St Croix! Well worth the money!!!

Whitish Rods Matter, probably one of the sexiest rods I own, I have the freshwater version too but this one is my favorite. Paired with a Daiwa Ryoga SLP Works. I don’t even care if I’m catching fish, it’s a blast just to be out there with rod/reel in hand. All my guest who use my rods prefer the St. Croix hands down.

I have the spinning versions, same blank and technology so I’m sure this rod is fantastic. I just wanted to leave a review to say that the casting version needs to be made in medium as well. Would love to have a few for tournaments.
