This thing…….holy smokes. I put a 500 size shimano sedona fj on it. 4lb mono line. My first trip out was amazing. Catching decent size bluegill and perch had this thing BENDING. Way too much fun. The sensitivity is unreal. I could feel every ripple in the water. Bites i was previously missing with my ugly stik felt blatantly obvious. Very satisified overall.
I like Ron B bought a PS66MHF2 and was also in Michigan, hooked a big Pike and the pole broke off just above the connector on the top section of the rod. Very disappointed but PS rods breaking seems to be a bit of a trend here. I have never had any issues with any of my SC rods over many years so that makes this even more disappointing to realize this may not be a fluke. Maybe I will look at Fenwick instead.
Love these rods
These rods break in less than a year and than you have to pay a 60 process fee which is crap. I had three rods and all of them. Broke they should be out of business. Don’t waste your time and money on this garbage.
