I foolishly broke the tip on my 3rd cast trying to free a snag. St. Croix replaced it no charge, amazing! Since then, I fished the fall bite and have been very impressed with the strength of the rod under load, and similarly impressed by the sensitivity. It's a wonderful little rod for panfish. Got a 2lb plus pb perch with it, plenty of backbone.

I really like it...it's the second one I bought.....I will be buying another one soon

Lightweight dream

Excellent spinning rod for small fish. I paired it with a Shimano Nasci 1000 and have enjoyed catching trout with the combo. Excellent action on the rod
