Plenty Of power yet it make every fish feel big (Check Warranty on review)

I've been SO Impressed with the ST. Croix Avid Panfish rods That I've purchased three of the in less than 12 months. The 6' & 6' 9" ultra lite and the 6'4" lite. They're all light in weight, cast far with minimum effort, & extremely sensitive. To achieve maximum comfort and increase sensitively, for me I sanded the top of the fore grip on an angle so my thumb could rest on the rod up to it's joint.(this might nullify the warranty). For me when fish, my thumb and rod now feels like they grew there together. I fish for trout with these rods. When you hook up the rod bends soooo nice and feels sooo sweet during the fight. There's plenty of pulling power left in the rod, yet it bends enough to make every fish feel big. At times it seems like the trout get in line to be hooked so they too can enjoy the fun. I'm greatly into catch and release. All my ultra light to light spinning rods I cast from 6'-7' long cast the same distance when fishing 1/32-1/8 ounce weight so it doesn't which of these three rods to purchased. I love all three of them. It's more a physics question on casting the weight than how long the fishing rod is.

Worth the money.

Great rod. I use mine for Crappie and bluegill. Nice and light. I purchased the medium light.
