DO NOT BUY

"I bought two of these for my wife and I and they both broke in the same place on the 2nd smallest segment. I have used them maybe 5 times for light trout fishing. If it had just been one, I would have thought maybe I was just unlucky or too rough with it. Clearly this is a manufacturing issue and I have completely lost faith in this company."

My son got this

"My son got this rod from his godfather for his birthday and he couldn’t have been more excited. The rod had one 10†bass to its name first time out before the tip snapped hauling in a ball of weeds, nothing crazy and way less than a respectable fish would’ve done to a medium-heavy rod. Now I have to pay half the price of a new one to get the tip fixed? I have several SC fly rods, eyecons and a new walleye tournament that have all performed great over years of heavy use, this rod was a serious disappointment."

Top two pieces of

"Top two pieces of the travel rod are stuck together. It’s been months. Defeats the whole purpose of my purchase. Had the OG triumph and loved that. But this is disappointing"

This is my first

"This is my first fishing rod since I was a kid. I just got addicted to fishing & this rod is keeping me out in the river to enjoy this obsession. I’ll probably purchase another rod in the future. High quality; just as I expected!"

Fishing Rod Warantee

"Very poor customer service. I corresponded with St Croix several times about a broken rod connection and have had no response. I expected some interaction and satisfaction from their warrantee statement; but nothing!"

Broke 3rd Day On The Water

"I was super excited for this rod as i travel a lot and fish several types of water,Unfortunately this pole broke on 3rd day out, Warranty process is a nightmare. For this kind of money you should not have these issues. Very Disappointed"

"Caught 10 strippers in first few days of use. Great rod. Does not feel like a “travel rodâ€Â."
