"Best option I’ve found for a reliable inshore rod that doesn’t break the bank. Holds up well and has a classic appearance. I like the medium light for sea trout, medium for redfish, and the heavy for jigging reefs for flounder."
"So here is the deal. I actually hate to write bad reviews but I feel like people need to know about this so they can make the best choice when purchasing a rod. It goes like this, I got a couple of these inshore triumph rods about 6 or so years ago (maybe longer) and love them and still have them and use them to this day. Because I liked these rods so much I purchased 5 other rods of the same model but with a few different rod powers mixed in there. All I can say is that they must have changed something in the production of the rods over the last few years because I have had nothing but problems with the new ones. All but one of them has either broken or the ceramic insert on the guide has come out. 2 of them I got replaced under the warranty process (which wasn't as easy as they make it seem) and they have since broken as well. They have all broken on fish or some other mundane task (not like they got shut in a door). I do fish a lot but I don't treat them any different than the ones I have had for years now and still work just fine so I feel like they should not be breaking. Now I just have a garage full of broken rods that I don't want to get replaced because it will just happen again. I'm just going to need to look elsewhere for my rods I guess."
"My 4th St. Croix fishing rod. The durability and quality that goes into these rods. Even though this not made in the USA. It work out great me fighting those inshore brawlers. I got the 6’8 casting model for my plastics. Thinking of getting the 7ft next. It also matches my all time favorite work horse reel the Curado 200e7. This rod turn out to be a great purchase. I highly recommended this series for the price and those on a budget."
"Highly recommend Triumph Inshore to anyone on a budget and want a quality rod. This a beast of a rod. 7 foot medium fast is the way go for all around inshore rod."
"I use them on all my charters. Smooth casting and great rod for the money."
"It casts really good"
"I was a little hesitant on buying the rod because of it being made in Mexico. I purchased the 7' MH/Fast to replace a rod that was more than 10 years old. Very satisfied with all aspects of the rod."
"I ordered this rod as a Christmas gift for my son. I received a completely different rod. I’ve been trying to contact costumer service and no one is responding. I’m returning the wrong order hoping to be at reimbursed for the shipping label but at this point I’m not holding my breath."
"Great feel to the rod anxious to get out and use"
