Have two of them and

"Have two of them and love how they give me the ability to throw my top water plugs way under the mangroves teasing the fish to bite. Greatest rod for back country fishing. Thank you and sure would love a St. Croix hat for the hot summer days in the keys. I actually have 10 St. Croix rods!!!! Thank you always for what you do for us."

Easy for longer casts, ergonomic,

"Easy for longer casts, ergonomic, light weight and pairs well with a 4000 series reel. The rod is sensitive for delicate delivery but still has backbone to handle inshore species like sea trout, redfish and flounder."

Broke first use

"I bought a MojoYak rod. The tip broke off on the first fish, and it wasn't even a big fish. I would have replaced it, but $60 to replace a rod that breaks that easily I didn't feel was worth the money. This was my first St. Croix . Normally I use Shimanos and in 13 years I've never broken one on a fish. I was disappointed in this rod."

Horrible

"I was suppose to get a warranty rod back . I paid the 60 they ask for . It’s been 3 about to be 4 months I haven’t received it . Everytime I call it’s next week next week … to many brands to deal with this ."

I guide hundreds of trips

"I guide hundreds of trips a year. My St. Croix MOJO Inshore JIS70MHF rods excel at every task. From the winter sheepshead bite on nearshore reefs to snook/red/ trout back country fishing they perform perfectly."

Best rod out there

"I recently threw my buddies st. Croix trout rod. super sensitive and could feel everything, but even then I could still get great casting distance."

I don't understand the bad reviews (7'6"" medium)

"Such a fun, light-weight rod. Paired mine with a Vanford 3k w/15# braid. This was my striped bass schoolie rod , cocktail blues, and more importantly my albie rod. It certainly had the backbone when the albies were ripping line. The tip was a bit on the light side for my use, which eventually broke. But the rod seemed even better. Consider the medium heavy if you don't want that sensitive tip."

First impression nice rod specs listed differ

"Just received the rod. I paired a 7’9†XH Mojo with an Lexa 400 size reel intended to be used off boat for bigger striper fishing or from beach. Tried casting soft plastics just to test, it was beautifully handled by both. Finish and packing excellent 1 star less for below. My concern stems from the listed weights 2-6 oz does not match what was sent to me showing the same model rod as printed on the rod as 1-3 oz. I ordered the correct model rod from Tackledirect but St. Croix shipped direct, took 3wks to be delivered. Both St. Croix and Tackledirect sites advertise 2-6oz for the rod. There is only 1 model at 7’9†XH…Do I have the right rod or an old model or some other issue ?"
