"Just received this rod it looks great ! I have not fished with it yet . Anxious to try it out . I river fish in the fall for walleye and probably use it then . It is the longest walleye rod I have and it should cast father and be more sensitive than any other rod I own ."

"Ive always used St. Croix Avid rods. Its been a few years since I bought some new rods and decided to treat myself with some Legend Tournaments. Ive only been out once for MN opener with them but so far they seem very nice, love the handle, great sensitivity, and very light weight. So far im loving my new rods. The Avids are great rods as well. Dont be afraid to buy them either!"
7’ med moderate and 7’1” med mod fast spinning
"Love the 7’ medium moderate spinning for cranks. Actually what it was designed for. It keeps the fish pinned on when using braid. Nice and lightweight doesn’t wear me out casting for hours. The 7’1” medium moderate fast spinning I use for jigs , paddle tails (swim baits) , and vibes and similar lures. Handles everything well and being a mod fast action the walleye don’t throw the hook. Can’t say enough great things about these rods and this series of rods. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a better quality rod with lightweight and great actions."

"AS high end rods go St Croix are Some of the most sensitive, technical rods on the market today. After trying other brands I will only be purchasing ST Croix going forward."

"First trip with it, I was hoping for a bit more sensitivity with Lindy rigging. Rod tip seems to absorb some of the light bites and bottom feel."
