Had a medium rod
"Had a medium rod rated for 20# line that broke the first week I owned it just above the reel. The line was 10# and there were no other factors involved in the break. I paid $60 to send it back and 2 months later,now that the season is all but over, St Croix is sending me a new one. This is a $290 rod. Not what I'd call good product and certainly not good service. I sent a pics of a Lew's rod back and in a week I had my replacement. $0 cost."

The xtra length helps me to cast father and get great hook set. At 74 this rod makes up for what i lost…sensitive, light weight and a real bull!"
