Super light ... Feels even lighter than my avid . Paired with Shimano sustain 3000. I have 12 st Croix avids /legends and can already tell this is going to be a favorite medium light setup
Solid rod
I bought the 7 ft Medium rod to throw paddle tails, but it's been sensitive enough to use with light Ned rigs, and has handled swim baits at the top (and slightly above) it's weight rating with no problems. I expect it to be a go to rod for me in both fresh and salt water.
The rod is beautifully made and will be a joy to fish for tarpon and snook. Though I haven't actually fished it yet, I'm looking forward to hooking and fighting a good sized tarpon as soon as I have the opportunity. Thanks for the great service, and for what St Croix offers veterans.
