Avid Surf Spinning 9'

Have yet to land the big one on it but i have no reservation itll function as good as my other 4 SC rods. Whips heavy weight and bait. Well balanced rod makes it easy to feel out the launch sequence.

Avid Surf Rod

I have a 9, 9.6, 2 - 10's and an 11 foot spinning surf rod in this model. I have upgraded them from the Tsunami Airwaves in the same lengths. The backbone on the Avids are so much better this enabling me to throw bigger baits at greater distances. I have really enjoyed this added distance and ease of casting. It has opened up my options in terms of targeting larger fish. The sensitivity, quality and finish on the rods are great. I certainly would recommend these rods to any surf fisherman.
