I don't understand the bad reviews (7'6" medium)

Such a fun, light-weight rod. Paired mine with a Vanford 3k w/15# braid. This was my striped bass schoolie rod , cocktail blues, and more importantly my albie rod. It certainly had the backbone when the albies were ripping line. The tip was a bit on the light side for my use, which eventually broke. But the rod seemed even better. Consider the medium heavy if you don't want that sensitive tip.

Great So far

So, I was a little skeptical at first whenever I read all the reviews on the Mojo inshore series; but, due to the unmatched warranty this company has, I decided to give it a try. After 4 trips out with my first Mojo inshore, I can say that this rod is a beast, I paired it with a Penn spinfisher 3500 and took it offshore to target mangroves on some light tackle and i couldn't have been happier with the performance. After catching roughly 15 snapper (all around 18"-22" long), this rod has my confidence. After those couple trips, I went straight to the local Academy and bought two more for my other two reels. I hate that so many other people have had issues with the quality, but I firmly believe a lot of those cases had t be from a bad batch or something. St. Croix has made me a believer, I plan on getting an Avid next and pairing it with some heavier setups soon.

Put some RESPECT on St Croix

Bought this mojo inshore rod despite the bad reviews. I have caught over 70 fish since then with no problems. Maybe I got a good one but I’ve put this rod through the wringer and it’s stood it’s ground.

Great value, good product

I've had this rod for 2+ years now and I've used it for throwing spinners for trout, steelhead and even salmon up to 15lbs and had 0 issues. Only thing I'd change about it is the handle design for such a light rod.
A lot of people complain about the tips and I haven't had the same issue as of yet. Hope that continues.
I would suggest these rods to almost anyone.

Great Action

I got the medium action 7'11" over Christmas. Perfect for inshore casting from docks/shorelines/flats for Reds and Speckled Trout in the SC Lowcountry. Light and responsive. My only wish is for an 8'6" version...
