St croix is one of my favorite rod companies and when the time came that I needed to get an inshore rod, I was confident that this rod would get the job done. I paired this with a Stradic fm 3k and itâ€™s an absolute dream for blues, schoolies and little tunny around cape cod. The fast action makes it able to cast anything from horizontal jigs to light plugs with immense accuracy and the 7.6â€™s medium power is perfect when needing to throw lighter baits in freshwater without compromising casting distances. This graphite rod looks amazing with completely carbon guides. However it does scratch really easily so definitely donâ€™t leave it on a rock and maybe even take your watch off when fishing it. Overall I use this thing almost every day and once you hook a fish, itâ€™s a feeling unlike any other, the cutting edge technology even in simple things such as its grip makes this rod worth every penny. Whether I catch something or reel in every cast without a hit, as long as Iâ€™m using this baby, the trip was successful.

St Croix Legend Surf for the Win ! Best rod on the market !

Best surf rod on the market ! Iâ€™ve got several St Croix rods for catfish and bass fishing . Iâ€™ve got the 8â€™ mojo cat , mojo surf 10â€™ , 11â€™ avid surf , 10â€™6â€ legend tournament surf , 8â€™6â€ premier musky rod , and 7â€™1â€ legend tournament bass rod . And in my opinion this legend surf rod is by far the best rod Iâ€™ve ever used for catching 50lb catfsih off the banks of the Ohio River and pay lakes , also this rod gives me the ability to throw my baits so far out in the distance compared to my other catfish rods from places like rippin lips , and penn surf rods , catch the fever , and so on . The premier would be the best rod for the cost , I just wish they made it in a longer length than the 8â€™6â€ like Iâ€™ve got now , so stepping up to the legend surf rod for the longer length was def worth it , and itâ€™s super sensitive , and all around a world class rod that you can order online and not have to have custom built ! St croix rods are all youâ€™ll ever see me using when Iâ€™m out fishing !
