For those who throw safety

"For those who throw safety pin spinnerbaits, billed or lipless cranks. . . ya gotta try this rod out!! Lets those baits "move" like they should, wicked hooksets (long sweep) and tons of power to back it up"

"Best slobberknocker rod made!!! Too many fish to count. Can feel everything on this rod. Catch from 1lb. -6lbs. , no problem. Have the older 7’ spinnerbait rod also. Can’t wait to get my next one in the series!!"

Not just a Ditch pickle rig…

"Running a LBTS710MLXF (That’s the 7’10” medium light spinner) Wears a VanStaal VRII75 at 9. 0 ounces (so right about a PENN 3000 size/weight reel but a tad heavier than a shimano or Daiwa 3k) Here’s the thing though… this Reel is loaded with nearly 500 yards of 24# delta braid (the stuff is ULTRA thin) I fish for species that RUN like hell when they are hooked. this thing is hilarious good fun throwing small plugs, 1/4 and 3/8 ounce Kastmasters (with home tied hook dressing of course) and clear casting bubbles with home tied 1/0 streamer flies for papio in Hawaii (a papio is any Jack trevally under 10 pounds. When they get over 10 pounds they are called an Ulua) These little jacks are incredible fighters, and strike with a savagery that make northern pike or muskies look like sissies. Pound for pound no freshwater fish comes close, and if weight is equal - they’d steal a striped bass’s lunch money and give it a wedgie. This little whip is super sensitive, tough, and will cast a small lure a VERY LONG way. Ergonomics are killer. With that VR75 on it balance is right at the spool, with the barest hint of a bit of tip heavy for a good casting follow through. Being a medium light action, with a good extra fast backbone, you can have fun if all you find are dinks (you won’t outclass and waterski 3/4 or 1 pound fish) but if you accidentally tie into say… a 15 pound Ulua? You stand a chance of landing him if he dosent reef you. If this rod can repeatedly handle that kind of smash? It’ll handle anything your fresh water guys throw at it. My only gripe? I wish it was 9’"
