"Much better sensitivity than my older Triumph and the new one weighs basically nothing. Caught 3 good largemouth bass and 2 dinks first time I used it. Pair it up with a Pflueger Supreme 30 series and your good to go."
"Used my triumph rod 10 times maybe, rod snapped while pull the hook down to an eyelet. Multiple emails to customer service with no reply. Warranty requires paying $60 for a replacement, when it will likely simply snap again. Incredibly frustrating. Buy something else."
"Great rod for 8 years, I abuse my rods and had an issue and St Croix was GREAT getting an upgraded rod even though mine was well out of warranty"
"Very sensitive, strong, and light! Paired it with the piscifun 1000 series reel. Already caught a few 1 to 2 pound Largemouth Bass and it held up great! My favorite rod so far! It is so much fun! Highly recommend"
"Love it it handles my reel so well and fits my reel perfectly love it"
"Very nice reel. Great action"
"The bot irritates me and I might never buy another St Croix rod again. I have 3 and came to buy another but the bot locked me from doing so. Thanks for nothing."
"Great looking rod with a ton of sensitivity."
