"Love the inshore series . Shipping on the other hand is horrible. I know it’s not st croix fault but 2 out of 3 rods came with the top of the shipping tube ripped. off. All 3 delivered by UPS. Wish you could look into a different company for shipping. So far have been fine but it’s a bit stressful watch some dude walking up your driveway with your brand avid inshore in a shedded tube."
"The avid inshores are incredibly versatile rods with great backbone and yet still very sensitive. I have 3 of them now in diffrent lengths and actions and they get used for everything from giant old drum to smallmouth bass. We have even lander a few large gar on them."

"Easy for longer casts, ergonomic, light weight and pairs well with a 4000 series reel. The rod is sensitive for delicate delivery but still has backbone to handle inshore species like sea trout, redfish and flounder. The micro guides are great for braid and prevents fouling during casts. Nice color on the blank and I like the locking reel seat."
