I love the casting rod

"I love the casting rod paired with a flipping switch reel to fish 3-ways for river walleyes. I first bought mh but after a few 20 inch fish I realized the backbone of this rod could be stepped down. I love it, the M rod handle big walleyes with ease and it adds so much more fun in fighting a fish. Pair this sensitive rod with tungsten jigs and you can feel a different world below the water. Top shelf all the way."

I have probably 15

"I have probably 15 st croix rods including a couple of the $650 dollar ones. This is perhaps the worst rod I’ve gotten at any price point from any company, let alone $450. I received this as a warranty replacement because my legend x has been discontinued, first day using it, I notice the guide on the tip bent completely backwards. I figured that was odd and bent it back. At the end of the day I notice it’s bent again! Apparently just the pressure of the line when you hook your lure to the hook keeper bends it completely backwards, garbage!"

I use the 6

"I use the 6 foot for my trout rod. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like an extension of my hand. I can toss and flip and rip this all day and then hike through the woods carrying it, no problem! Very high end pole, pair it with a high end reel and it's the best trout combo you will ever find."
