After asking and researching
"After asking and researching about what kind of rod I should use for throwing a bladed jig I finally decided to use the 7'4 mhm Legend Glass, with a 7:1 ratio reel, all I have to say is, it really took away the learning curve, I've always been a speed worm guy, letting the baits swim thru grass and never had a great deal of luck throwing a bladed jig with a regular carbon fiber rod, that parabolic bend and action really does give you the time to react and set that hook when you get that bite!. . . . . loved it so much I got 2 more!"

"Great rods, I have four of them and use them for chatterbaits, crankbaits and even topwaters. These rods allow the fish to get these baits deep and I don't lose too many fish because if the great parabolic bend."
Too soft to load
"I love st croix but this was a big miss for me. Tried everything from square bills to deep divers and it was way too soft to cast well/ accurately. Perhaps glass rods are just not for me, I’ve switched to composite rods from lews and Megabass for cranking, but love st croix for everything else"
