Amazing combo

I love this 32 inch combo. I call it the little brother to my other Saint Croix combo outfits.. The rod has nice backbone and the reel is extra smooth. I just love it..

My go to

I have had two of these for two seasons. I keep them in a hard case with my other rods, so they don't get beat up. I couldn't testify to how much abuse they can take. I can attest for performance. They're a great combo. The reels have a smooth action, with no noise. The rod feels good in your hand and has a good balance. I don't use a spring bobber or anything else. The lakes I fish typically have a very light bite, so I watch my electronics and watch the line or go by feel. Good fast action for a quick hook set and the rod has some back bone for fighting. Overall I prefer the action to these over any other rods in my case. I have the 24 and 28". The light I use for panfish and the other I use for jigging walleye. I've caught over 30" pike and 5 lb bass on both. The 24" is especially fun with big fish as I use 1 lb test. The rod handles it though. I would definitely buy another if I find myself needing a new rod, or I see one on sale.
