"Received this rod 2 weeks ago as a warranty replacement. I can’t say enough good things about St Croix Customer Service. Just outstanding! The rod is very good. I throw medium running crank baits (6-7 ft deep) with it and it is just great. Very sensitive and has good back bone. A great rod. The trigon handle works well."
"So far feels good"
"I love these rods!!"
"First to the people who go on here to say they don't like where it is made. Do some research and pick a high end rod still made in the states. The reason this is so cheep is because its made there they could not produce it at this price in the states. I have several high end rods in this brand and they are all made in the states. Second, this is a damn good rod love it didn't think it would hold up to to much tuff stuff like a random 20lb catfish ( my rod is 6'10"" M) but it did and has caught up to 30lb fish no problem. I am planning on getting a spinning one very soon."
"Ordered two mojo bass based on company reputation and price point. First rod broke on first day near the tip. Ordered replacement for top part of rod. Cost me close to $100 once shipping and currency factored in. Took 6 months to arrive. Took the rod out to try. Feels good, like it lots. Second time out rod breaks again at same point. I’m now out $300, no rod and never had the chance to catch a single fish. Total joke. Fooled me once but this isn’t happening again. Worst product experience in decades. Total waste of time and money. I totally baby my rods and am very careful. This thing is made of sugar glass. I have one left and have no confidence whatsoever it will last. Buyer beware."
"Rod broke at the first eyelet going down after setting the hook on a fish. Only had it a week before it broke it was a really nice crank bait rod for shad raps and husky jerks."
"Great rod for Square bill crankbaits and spinnerbaits !!"
"I use 7' 2"" med rod for my topwater fishing in rivers. I'm using a Diawa BG 3000 reel, 20 lb powerpro braid. Mostly Whopper Plopper's 110's and 90 sizes. This rod is lights out! Smallmouth, Largemouth and Pike mostly. The rod cast's accurately for a mile and is tough! the Parabolic bend is a blast when fighting a fish! It is excellent for what I use it for! I want to upgrade to the Legend Glass eventually for better guides. I have alot of other St. Croix rods but this is my go to most of the time!"
"The title says it all. In my 30+ years of fishing I have never owned a rod that fishes this well. Have thrown many different crankbaits and spinnerbaits with it. Casts great and lot of sensitivity. Also, is lighter than my graphite rods. If I could I would give it 50 stars. Get one you will not be disappointed!"
