Professional/Personal Highlights: Roy is a full-time licensed charter captain and fishing guide. Before becoming a professional guide, he worked for 27 years as a game warden, a vocation that dictated he use most of his vacation time during the early months of the year. Few guides have the ice fishing expertise possessed by Roy. But you'll notice he listed trolling first among his favorite techniques; obviously not a common ice fishing method. Roy also is quite proficient at open water fishing, whether on a Great Lake or a tributary.
